It was JP's turn to bring home the bookbag from school today. Inside it is the book, "The Puppy Who Wanted a Boy", a stuffed dog named Benjy and a Benjy Notebook. The "homework" is to take care of Benjy, do anything with him, play with him, take him anywhere except the shower or bath and then have Mom or Dad write down in the book what Benjy did with you. JP also gets to draw a picture of Benjy or something that he did with Benjy. Let me tell you... JP loves Benjy. He knows that he just gets him until Tuesday but he is already having so much fun with him. Of course we've read the book 4 times already. It's a very sweet book. This is a fun project and it was fun to go through the book and see what the other kids drew and what they did with Benjy. Tomorrow is a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese but I think Benjy will either stay home or in the car. I don't want to be the one who loses Benjy.

MOG, Heat - that is too cute! LOVE the drawing of Benjy - very cute! Marian's class has a special box that they get to take home, put one "special thing" inside, and then their class has to guess what they put in the box. :D She's all excited about it.
